Mark your calendars for November 7, 2025 — Pokémon China is set to release their newest main expansion: Arcane Truth!
This exciting set introduces Paradox Pokémon, meaning you’ll see both Future and Ancient type cards for the first time in Simplified Chinese. Many fan-favourite cards from the popular English sets Obsidian Flames and Paradox Rift are now making their debut in Simplified Chinese, giving collectors a new way to enjoy these Pokémon!
Arcane Truth will come in both Slim Booster Packs and Jumbo Booster Packs, with pack artwork featuring Iron Valiant.
New Exclusive Artworks!
The Arcane Truth set isn’t holding back on exclusive treasures! Collectors can look forward to:
- A brand-new Special Art Rare for Iron Hands ex
- A shiny Full Art gold version of the Pal Pad Item Trainer
Like many recent Chinese releases, these cards are likely to remain Simplified Chinese exclusives. That exclusivity, combined with extremely low hit rates, makes them highly sought-after and typically commands a premium on the secondary market.
For reference, previous exclusive SAR cards from mainline sets have gone for:
- Maushold ex 158/129 (csv4C) – $380 CAD
- Arcanine ex 155/130 (csv3C) – $300 CAD

The hit rates for the Iron Hands SAR haven’t changed much compared to previous releases:
- Slim Packs: ~0.73% chance
- Jumbo Packs: ~1.00% chance
