New Travel Simplified Chinese Gift Boxes

Mark your calendars for November 7, 2025, because Pokémon China is dropping some all-new and seriously awesome gift boxes you won’t want to miss!

We’ll see the exciting return of the Journey Gift Boxes plus the debut of the Travel Premium Gift Box! Both releases will include a brand-new Travel Promo Pack, similar to what we saw in the previous ETB-style boxes — and you know what that means… more exclusive cards to chase!

Let’s dive in and check out everything these new products have to offer!

Travel Promo Packs

First up, let’s dive into the brand-new promo packs featured in the exciting new gift boxes!

Each Travel Pack will contain two random cards. Inside, you’ll find a mix of:

·       Holo-Foil and regular ex cards,

·       Baby Shiny and Full Art Shiny cards,

·       And of course, some of the top chase cards — Art Rares and Special Art Rares.

The Travel Packs are bringing back some already popular hits from previous English and Japanese releases, now available in Simplified Chinese for the very first time!

·       Greninja ex – originally featured in the Shrouded Fable English Collection Boxes

·       Mew ex – first seen in the Pokémon 151 UPC and Japanese booster boxes

·       Charizard ex – the iconic Fire-type from Paldean Fates (English) and Shiny Treasure ex (Japanese)

These returning stars are sure to be instant chases once again.

Each Travel pack will also have the chance to include:

·       Holo-foil versions of every Energy card featuring a shattered glass texture

·       Gold versions of every Energy card, adding a touch of luxury

Now that we outlined the probabilities, you’re probably still wondering: what are the pull rates for the SAR cards everyone’s after?

In classic Simplified Chinese fashion, these cards are as elusive as ever — the probability of pulling one of the four Special Art Rares sits at 0.50%. As always, we wish everyone the best of luck!

Travel Collection Gift Box

Each box includes an Travel promo pack along with a random Travel-themed Damage Counter Storage Box, designed around either a Pokémon or a typing. These compact, portable boxes aren’t just stylish — they’re perfect for storing damage counters, coins, VSTAR markers, and other battle essentials. Plus, they double as handy organizers for everyday items!

The storage boxes come in three rarity tiers — Regular, Hidden, and Super Hidden — each featuring a distinct design styles.

This set also comes with booster packs:

The art card sleeves once again come in three rarity tiers — Regular, Hidden, and Super Hidden.

Inside, you’ll also find:

·       2x Slim booster packs (randomly selected from Reward Round, Dark Crystal Blaze, or Arcane Truth)
